Supplies

Supplies notes:

  • Cardstock – Printing the bingo cards on 110 lb white cardstock will make them sturdy enough to hold up during play, especially for little hands! Cardstock also gives the cards a polished, professional look compared to standard printer paper.
  • Color Printer – For best results, use a color printer to bring out the bright, festive Valentine’s Day designs. If you don’t have one at home, you can save the file and print it at a local print shop.
  • Candy or Small Markers – Edible markers like conversation hearts, M&Ms, mini marshmallows or Hershey’s Kisses add extra Valentine’s charm to the game—and a sweet treat for players! If you prefer reusable options, try buttons, coins, or pom-poms.

If you plan to use these bingo cards year after year, laminate them! Laminated cards are spill-proof and durable, and you can use dry-erase markers or reusable bingo markers like conversation candy hearts, pom-poms, or coins without worry.

Print out the free printable on a color printer. Choose “actual size” to have the printable fill your entire sheet of paper. I recommend printing the bingo game on heavy duty cardstock. There are 10 free bingo cards in the PDF file, so print only the number that you need to save paper and printer ink!

Expert Tips

  • Print only what you need! To save ink and paper, only print the number of bingo cards you need. For smaller groups, adjust your printer settings to select and print specific pages instead of the whole file.
  • Prep your calling card in advance. Cut out one copy of the calling card into individual squares ahead of time. Store the squares in a Valentine’s-themed bowl, hat, or even a cute mini mailbox to keep the game on theme and organized.
  • Include younger kids. If you’re playing with younger children, you can make the game easier by showing the calling card image as you call it out. This helps little ones match the images more quickly and keeps them engaged.
